Silk Gets Series Order on MGM+ and Prime Video
It has literally been years since were had word that Sony Television and Prime Video were working on a suite of Spider-Man adjacent projects for streaming.
Silk, which is the first (and only) project from the line to be discussed, now as a season one order, according to a report on Deadline.
The show, now titled Silk: Spider Society, is being developed by Angela Kang, who has spent the past few years as showrunner on The Walking Dead.
The show will run initially on the MGM+ (which is currently known as Epix). It will then run on Prime Video in what seems like a very unusual platform deal.
Plans still call for Sony and Amazon Studios to spin other Spider-verse characters into series as well.
