Garfield (2024 Film)
Garfield is a 2024 Columbia Pictures animated feature film based on the the Garfield the Cat comic strips created by Jim Davis.
Chris Pratt is attached to provide the voice of the title cat. Samuel L. Jackson is cast as Vic, Garfield's father.
Also cast are Ving Rhames (Misson: Impossible), Nicholas Hoult (X-Men: Days Of Future Past), Hannah Waddingham (Krypton) and Cecily Strong (Saturday Night Live).
David Reynolds (Finding Nemo) is writing the script. Mark Dindal (Chicken Little) is set to direct.
Alcon Entertainment is developing the movie. Alcon partners Andrew Kosove and Broderick Johnson are producing along with John Cohen and Steven P. Wegner for Alcon. Davis is an executive producer along with Bridget McMeel and Craig Sost. DNEG Animation (Ron's Gone Wrong) are animating and producing. DNEG CEO Namit Malhotra and president Tom Jacomb are producers as well.
