Wonder Woman 3 is DC Studios planned live-action, feature film based on the DC Comics character of the same name. It will be the third film in the Wonder Woman Film Series but may not necessarily be viewed as a sequel to Wonder Woman 1984 due to changes in the DC Studios strategy.
The movie was officially announced during the opening weekend for the previous film. Gal Gadot was expected to return to the lead role.
However, a December 2022 report revealed that a recently-reconfigured DC Studios had opted not to move forward with the movie, leaving the future of the franchise in question. A subsequent report claims that plans for the film continue, but director Patty Jenkins has opted not to be involved due to creative differences with the studio.
An August 2023 report found Gadot talking about working on the project with DC Studios chiefs James Gunn and Peter Safran.
