About Comics2Film.com

One of the pioneers of the internet entertainment journalism scene, the original Comics2Film.com was established by writer Rob M. Worley in May of 1997. It was the first site of its kind to focus exclusively on the then-niche subject of movies based on comic books.

It was a dark time for fans of comic books, with the movies of that year being the Steel, Spawn and the infamous Batman & Robin. The one bright spot for the subject was a movie based on an indie comic of such a low profile most didn't even see it as part of the movement: Men in Black.

1998 became a turning-point for comic films, and for Marvel, who produced the surprise hit Blade with New Line Cinema.

Comics2Film and Worley remained on the front line of the exploding culture for over a decade. In 2008 the site was obtained by Demand Media and Worley parted company three years later.

Now, over 20 years since its inception, Comics2Film is back in the hands of its original creator, and Worley aims reintroduce the brand to the new fans of what is now the dominant engine of pop-culture.
